What is e-Psi?
Short answer
e-Psi is the registry maintained by Brazil’s Federal Council of Psychology that clears a psychologist to provide services through information technology — online care. Registration must precede the work and is publicly searchable at e-psi.cfp.org.br.
Who needs it
Any psychologist intending to work remotely, whether by video or by other means covered by the regulation. Those working only in person do not depend on it.
The regulation on remote care is revised periodically by the council. Always confirm the version in force on the CFP website before deciding how you will work.
How IAURA uses this
A professional who states they work online provides the address of their own page on the e-Psi portal. It is displayed on the profile so anyone can verify the clearance without relying on the platform’s word.
That is the difference between showing evidence and issuing a badge: IAURA does not certify the clearance, it shows where it can be checked.
